As a professional photographer you are often advised not to show sunsets, selfies or cute little animals in your portfolio. That’s the theory. But this is different. We visited Bon Ton Resort in Langkawi for a couple of days and we were excited about the owners fantastic Langkawi Animal Shelter & Sanctuary Foundation, LASSie – http://www.langkawilassie.org.my/. Volunteers and enthusiasts bundle their energy together to improve the lives of unwanted animals. On the day I took this photo a mothercat with her four kittens were dropped in the rescue basket. A new chance for five souls in a peaceful environment.
