The dolphins have arrived in Singapore. We went to see them. They have lots of space and friends. We are aware of the objections against dolphins in aquariums, but feel ambivalent while visiting them. They are ambassadors for their mates in the wild, building connections to us that inform people to start thinking about the protection of their species. Likewise, the aquarium staff adhere to strict rules to not disturb the animals.
