Our night shoot at Clarke Quay in Singapore with Edmund Low was experimental. We studied the light at night. Having started in the magic blue, we found that the gentle covering of darkness was pushed back by the electric lights. Street musicians played their songs and expats met locals for afterwork drinks while Asian women paraded themselves, wanting to be seen – as successful.
