the quiet before the storm

Being some of the first to arrive in Toa Payoh for the official time trial for the Singapore National Age Group swim competition we enjoyed the fresh breeze from the top of the huge grandstand. We have an idiom in Germany, that a red sky in the morning brings bad weather. So true – the last races were cancelled because of thunderstorms in the afternoon, which are a common occurrence in Singapore.
